Wendell McElroy, age 63, affectionately known as “Little Mac” of Clarksville, TN lost his battle to cancer at his residence on Thursday, August 18, 2022. He was surrounded by his loving family. He is now pain free and with Jesus.

Celebration of Life will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 23, 2022, at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. David Mackens and Bro. Mark Riggins officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, August 22, 2022, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and again on Tuesday, from 12 noon until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Wendell entered this life on February 1, 1959, in Montgomery County, TN to the late Jesse and Shirley Mann McElroy. He was a 1977 graduate of Montgomery Central High School. Wendell was retired from Clarksville Gas & Water, where he worked in the sewer maintenance department. He loved watching westerns, riding motorcycles, anything mechanic related and watching his children play sports.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Joey McElroy, and sister, Phyllis Ann McElroy. Survivors include his wife, Eufaula Adkins McElroy; sons, Isaiah Wendell McElroy (Maddie), and Elijah Batson McElroy; grandson, Beckham Luke McElroy; brothers, David and Barry McElroy.

Pallbearers will be Bud “BC” Devine, Parker Austin, Brian Shelby, Ricky Hill, Kyle Hardy, Connor Robinson, Grant Winters, Wesley Mebley, and Garrett Long. Honorary pallbearers will be Jakob Harris, Curtis Mobley, and Everett Winters.
